Proud Moment in the history of CSIR-CSIO
The CSIR Young Scientist Award for the year 2012 in
Physical Sciences (including instrumentation) is awarded to Mr. Umesh Tiwari of CSIR-Central
Scientific Instruments Organization, Chandigarh in recognition of his &
demonstration of novel fiber grating sensors for the communication and sensing
applications having outstanding contributions in the area of Photonics particularly
in developing Erbium Doped Fiber Amplifier (EDFA), various
configurations of Raman/EDFA hybrid amplifiers and various other fields.
Science Samiksha
congratulates Mr. Tiwari on this joyous occasion on behalf of the entire
CSIR-CSIO family. This award is a laurel for the organization and a great
motivation indeed for all the upcoming young scientists.
